The Warrior/US Lacrosse Players of the Week are named each Tuesday to recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school boys' lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage.
Northeast
Tavin Rell, Saugerties (N.Y.)
Rell netted eight goals to lead the Sawyers to a 17-10 win over Schnectady (N.Y.) last week. He finished with two more goals in a 10-5 loss to Red Hook (N.Y.).

Mike McShea, Radnor (Pa.)
McShea was successful on 25 of 30 faceoffs in two games last week, including winning 78.95 percent of his chances in a win against Strath Haven (Pa.) on April 19.

Brandon Meaux, Episcopal Dallas (Texas)
The senior attackman was a solid and steady presence in four wins last week. Meaux scored 12 goals and had 12 assists for the week, including five goals and two assists in a 13-8 win over Kinkaid. He started the run with a two-goal, four-assist game in an epic 11-10 overtime win against Dallas Jesuit (Texas), which was started and finished on two different days because of weather. He also had three goals and three assists against Episcopal Houston and added two goals and three assists in a win over St. Mark’s that gave ESD its fifth consecutive Southwest Preparatory Conference championship.
