The Warrior/US Lacrosse Players of the Week are named each Tuesday to recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school boys' lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage.

Northeast

Matt Grillo, Ward Melville (N.Y.)

The junior attackman is coming off a monster week. He totaled 13 goals and three assists to help the Patriots go 3-0 last week, including six goals and one assist in a 14-2 win over Whitman (N.Y.). Grillo, who is committed to Providence College, has 23 goals and four assists in eight games this season.

Mid-Atlantic

Jacob Angelus, Paul VI (Va.)

The Johns Hopkins commit scored two goals and added two assists with four caused turnovers as Paul VI upset nationally-ranked Gonzaga (D.C.) last week. The junior was coming off an eight-point game against St. Anne’s-Belfield (Va.) in which he scored five goals and three assists. Angelus posted 44 assists and 41 goals last season.

South

Moises Ramirez, Immokalee (Fla.)

The senior attackman had a banner week with 19 goals and nine assists in three games. Ramirez had seven goals and three assists in a 13-7 win over Riverdale (Fla.), five goals and three assists in a 15-2 win over Golden Gate (Fla.) and seven goals and three assists in an 11-10 overtime loss to Edgewood (Fla.). Ramirez has 68 goals and 25 assists this season.

Graham Bundy Jr., MICDS (Mo.)

Future Georgetown attacker Graham Bundy Jr. continues his torrid season, racking up 13 goals in two games last week. Bundy scored eight times against Fort Zumwalt (Mo.) and five times against DeSmet Jesuit (Mo.). For the year, Bundy has 42 goals in 10 games.

West

Kyle McCann, Palos Verdes (Calif.)

The junior goalie totaled 30 saves in a pair of top 10 wins to lift Palos Verdes into the West rankings this week. McCann collected 14 saves in a 9-7 win over then-No. 4 St. Margaret’s (Calif.) on Saturday and finished with 16 saves in a 13-4 trouncing of then-No. 8 Foothill-Santa Ana (Calif.) on April 10.
